The board has been very quiet as of late. Hope everyone is well.

I was wondering what the average mileage of our Voyager XII's are these days.
Being that they are touring bikes some may have well over 100k on the clock but not everyone uses them for that purpose.
I haven't put 1000 miles on mine in the last three years.

So if you could take my poll and let us know I would appreciate it.

Please keep this a Voyager XII only poll. If you would like to comment on your miles please do.

Thanks Everyone!

2001, coming up on 56,000 miles.
Except for regular maintenance, 1st repair coming up-- will have to replace o rings and seal on water pump this winter.
New Michelin Commander II being ordered later this fall.
Am considering swapping out front calipers to a 2 or 3 piston unit, if I can find direct bolt-on, already have the SS lines.
Already planning next year trips with friends. 3 to 5 day trips.

Please keep us updated if you find a caliper that will work.

The '89 (pre-wreck avatar picture) has just a tick over 140k. I have replaced every o-ring, bearing, and hose (that I am aware of) on it. Its got the atv u-joint and stainless brake/clutch lines. Put a set of carbs from Carl on earlier this year, and a used oil pan he sold me a few years back. The newest issue seems to be a slow reacting cruise control. I'll bet a dollar I did something not quite right when I put the carbs on. The most problematic issue is the radio. I have learned to ride without it. This is my 5th season with it and I still enjoy it.

The '97 only has 34k on it. Still haven't ridden it.

The cable from the actuator to the throttle block where it joins the other throttle cables. Should be checked for rust. If you ride in rain a lot, the cable may pick water and the curve in the fairing collects water. Also if the adjuster at the actuator os too slack. I need to adjust mine this winter a little bit.

I just contacted a cycle salvage in New Brunswick. I know the owner and he has a Voyager XII for parts in the back. He agreed that over the winter he will look at all his 2 and 3 piston calipers and see if he can get one that is a direct bolt up to the XII. If he gets them and they are in good shape, I can get them for $150 a pair.
I will then post the information off which bike they came, and the part number for the pads.
I would post under a new post with all the information.
I also reached out to Klaus KRUGER in Germany to see if he knows what bike his 3 piston calipers came off of, that he has on his 97 XII
UPDATE: Klaus replied his calipers came off a Suzuki GSXR1400. That bike is not sold here, but the GSX r1000 has similar calipers. Passed on info to salvage yard
Stay tuned
