Post subject: Kuryakyn Large Silver Bullets as blinkers on 2003 Nomad

this might save you a trip to the hardware store.
When you try to mount the large silver bullets to the OEM turn signal light bar, you will not be able to turn them 360 Degrees while the bar is still mounted to the frame as they will hit the mount for the lowers when you reach the "tightening" length. (important if trying to mount them while mounted and you can not get a wrench in the tight space). Before you begin, get yourself a pair of 1/4 x 3/8 (I.D.) chrome spacers and mount between the bullet and the light bar, it will also give you a professional looking mount and you can torque them down from the outside.
I replaced the "mini" bullet flashers with these and they look much better. They are 35W and so far, the fuse has not blown, but I would still recommend the 20W just to be safe. (or as Ernie will say, use LED's). Then you will need load equalizer diodes (another excuse to putz around).
